Here at the KU Center for Community Health and Development, we have had our own community leadership corps for several years. The Kansas Community Leadership Corps is a 2-month summer field experience for 10 KU students in creating healthy communities in Kansas. The research explores what the leaders did and why, when relating to their staff, in order to better understand what effective leadership means in these school communities.
